Daily Timings

School Day

School timings differ, depending on your child's year group. A punctual start is essential to avoid disruption for your child and their year group. Timings are as follows:

Year 1 to Year 6

• Monday to Thursday
  Lessons start: 08.15 am
  (Flexi drop off 07.45 to 08.10)
  Pick up: 14.40 pm
  **ECA Programme: 14.40 pm -15.30 pm
   
• Friday 
  Lessons start: 08.15 am
  (Flexi drop off: 07.45 to 8.10)
  Pick up: 11.35 pm -11.45 pm
   

Year 7 to Year 13

• Monday to Thursday
  Lessons Start: 08.45 am
  (Flexi drop off from 08.30 to 8:45)*
  Pick up: 15:30 pm
  **ECA Programme: 07.45 pm - 08.30pm 
   
• Friday 
  Start: 08:30 am
  (Flexi drop off from 08.15 to 08.30)
  Pick up: 12.00 pm

Our administration offices are open Mondays to Thursdays, 7:30am to 4pm and Fridays 7:30am to 12.00pm.

Break Time

Students have a morning break of 15 minutes and a lunch break of 45 minutes. Please ensure your child has their school hat and water bottle for break time. We have a strict 'no hat, no play' policy for Primary Children.

School Meals

At DBSJP, we believe in a healthy and balanced lifestyle for our students. Our on-site canteen is run by Leela's Lunches, offering students healthy and comprehensive meals, snacks and beverages, including a 3 course healthy lunch. Alternatively, students may bring their own lunchboxes.

For parents who do not select the school provided dining option, please ensure that the lunch you provide for your child is healthy. The following items are not allowed: chocolate of any kind, included spreads and yoghurt, sweets, pork or nut products, crisps or fizzy drinks To safeguard children who may suffer from allergies, nuts or products containing nuts (e.g. peanut butter) should not be included in packed lunches. We are also a pork-free school.
