The Secondary School phase is an incredibly exciting time for our students and consists of three key stages. In Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9), students largely follow the English National Curriculum whereby they study core and non-core subjects, concurrently. The core subjects consist of English, Mathematics, Science, Arabic, Arabic Language and for Muslim students, Islamic Studies. The non-core subjects are comprised of Geography, History, Art and Design, French, Spanish, Music, Drama, Food and Nutrition, ICT, Physical Education, Social and Health Education and Moral Education. It is our aim that we provide students at this stage with a curriculum that is rich in a breadth of experiences so that in Year 9, students can make informed decisions when selecting their GCSE options to study in Years 10 and 11.

In Key Stage 4 (Years 10 and 11), all students will study the core subjects of English (Language and Literature), Mathematics, Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and Arabic. In addition, they will select five subjects from our option blocks including Modern Foreign Languages (French/Spanish), Humanities (History/Geography) Creative subjects (Drama, Music, Food and Nutrition, Design and Technology) Computing subjects (ICT, Computer Science) Art and Design (Fine Art, Photography) Social Sciences (Business Studies/Psychology/Economics), Physical Education, Level 2 BTEC Business Studies and Level 2 BTEC Information Technology.

In Key Stage 5 students embark on their two-year A level journey where their curriculum narrows further to focus on three or four A levels or Level 3 BTECs. These carefully selected Advanced Level qualifications are in line with their interests, aspirations and support their transition to either the university or the world of work. Students have a wide verity of subjects to select from including English Language and Literature, Maths and Further Maths, Economics, Psychology, Computer Science, Product Design, Fine Art, Photography, History, Geography, French, Spanish, BTEC Performing Arts, BTEC Sport, BTEC IT and BTEC Leisure and Tourism.

Across the Secondary School the learning is inclusive, bespoke and student centred. Woven into our mainstream provision are opportunities for students to study qualifications alongside, or instead of their option choices. These consist of the Extended Project Qualification, BTEC Diplomas, ASDANs, Early Entry Certificates or the accelerated Further Mathematics program to ensure that every single learner excels in their education.

At all stages we pride ourselves on providing students with individualised support, care and guidance through our child-centred systems, academic support and explicit careers guidance in addition the enriched curriculum experiences. This creates young people who enjoy, achieve and aspire and are confident to make informed choices about their future, equipped to flourish in an ever-changing world.
