KHDA Inspections

KHDA Inspections

Every school in Dubai is regularly inspected by the Dubai Schools Insp ection Bureau (DSIB) on behalf of the Knowledge and Human Development Agency (KHDA).

The DSIB is the Dubai equivalent of UK’s OFSTED whereby schools have a rigorous inspection where key performance is noted.

BSO Inspection

BSO Inspection

The BSO (British Schools Overseas) inspection is a voluntary scheme for the inspection of British schools overseas, whereby schools are inspected against a common set of standards that British schools overseas can choose to adopt.

By achieving UK inspection-based approval, participating schools are able to demonstrate that they provide a British education that has similar characteristics to an education in an independent school in the UK.

Dubai British School has been rated as Outstanding since 2015.  For most recent BSO inspection report of 2021 please click on the below link.
